Lead Engineer

Overview:
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of critical electrical infrastructure. This position offers a unique blend of hands-on technical work and leadership responsibilities, allowing you to influence project outcomes significantly. You will be at the forefront of designing, engineering and commissioning state-of-the-art electrical systems, contributing directly to TerraWatt’s mission of pioneering reliable  and innovative electrical infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and engineering of advanced electrical infrastructure, focusing on reliability and security of power systems.
  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers in complex projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Oversee project management aspects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct equipment sizing, selection, and testing, maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams on projects to integrate cutting-edge technology into our solutions.
  • Actively contribute to the development and improvement of TerraWatt’s processes in design, engineering, and project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in critical infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficient in English and Croatian, with German being a beneficial addition.
  • Expertise in CAD/CAE solutions such as Autocad and Aucotec Engineering Base.
  • Excellent understanding of designing electrical systems such as diesel generator, UPS, low voltage distribution and/or high and medium voltage protection and control.

Language and Skills:

  • Strong command of Croatian and English, with German as a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
